Every preacher will tell you that
you can’t prepare a complete sermon without including a Bible verse. Bible
reference sets a sermon apart from a talk!
So how do you get the verse you
are looking for without memorizing or reading the entire Bible? Answer to that
question is Bible Concordance
Concordance is an alphabetic
grouping of Bible verses according to topics. If you are preaching about
‘love’, the use of Concordance will help you find Bible verses which talk about
love. The same can be done for ‘Kingdom’, ‘Grace’, ‘Faith’ and any keyword you
can think of.
You then continue to the books of
Luke and John and read and prepare to present on key messages expressed in
those books. Such messages include story of Nicodemus, woman at the well,
Prodigal son, Good Samaritan, Zaccheaus and lessons such as Ask, seek and
knock, signs of the 2nd coming of Christ, humility, Lord’s promise.
As a Pathfinder Explorer, you are
encouraged to make use of your own creativity in the form of poetry, essay
writing, pictures, charts or models and giving presentations.
