Friend Development- Pathfinder Friend

28 January 2016

The Golden Rule is declared in Matthew 7:12 and it states that ‘Do unto others as you would have them do to you’. As a class in interaction, discuss at least 4 everyday situations where you would have practiced the Golden Rule. Such will include; not gossiping, not laughing when others are being bullied, sharing with those who lack, being kind and helpful, not fighting and stealing and encourage a spirit of love and care.

In discussing and demonstrating good table manners, you can make the lesson interactive by making a basic table setting and conducting the lesson of the day while seated on that table. You can arrange basic snacks so to complete the feel of the table setting.

To end this class session, the Pathfinder Friend Class can sing the National Anthem and explain its meaning. For most, this activity will be easy as they have been already taught the National Anthem at school but if your Friend class does not know this National Anthem, be patient with them.
