The Pathfinder Guide class is
expected to have the highest level of maturity and the objective is for Guide
class members to get a personalized experience from Community Outreach. As
such, where possible, encourage them to carry out community outreach tasks in
the lowest numbers and then come back and report to the class.
Friendship visit with a shut-in
person can be anything from visiting an elderly member of the church who can’t
come to church due to old age or visiting an old-age home or children’s home or
home of the disabled or orphanage. For security sake, I advise that the Guide
member goes with a parent to such a place.
The Guide member is also
encouraged to think of their own Community Outreach programs which they can
assist in.
Most importantly, the Guide
Pathfinder should be able to stand in a crowd and comfortably witness about the
greatness and goodness of Christ and how it is best for every young person to
have a personal relationship with Christ.
Challenge yourself and have fun
