Tools for the trade- Pathfinder

6 January 2016

  • ·         As a Pathfinder, it is your duty to ensure that you receive the most from every program set for you. Arriving late for progressive class and not carrying your class book and not doing your homework and copying from a friend will do you no good. Being a trustworthy Pathfinder is your responsibility. As such, your first tool is your Bible, Progressive Class Book and Pen. You not only need to ensure that you have these items but you also need to ensure that you keep them in best condition.
  • ·    Many times parents are blamed for buying only luxury items and branded items for their Pathfinders and not investing as much on their Pathfinder needs. I don’t condone such actions at all but am highlighting that as a Pathfinder you need to insist on getting your own Bible first and getting your uniform completed first before nagging parents to buy you new clothes and phones and PlayStations and new hairstyle
  • ·         Challenge your Director!

Yes, you heard me, you must challenge your director!
You don’t have to agree with everything your Director says is true. If your Director teaches you          something that you know differently, you can share your different views. The only thing you              need to keep in mind with this is that your Pathfinder Director is your leader and for that sole              reason, they have earned respect. Listen attentively to their view and if you still strongly see               things differently, share your different views and an intelligent Director will pay attention to                you.
